Vasco forwards hiring of midfielder from Athletico-PR

O Vasco directed the hiring of the steering wheel Hugo Moura, from Athletico. The player would have been a request from coach Ramón Díaz.
The 26-year-old athlete was trained at Flamengo, played on loan at Coritiba in 2020, he returned to the Rio club the following year and arrived at Athletico in 2022.

Furacão purchased 50% of the player’s economic rights for R$6.6 million from Flamengo in June of the same year.
In three seasons at the club, Hugo Moura made 104 appearances, with two goals and one assist, being runner-up in the Libertadores in 2022 and with two state titles (2023 and 2024). In the current season there are 12 matches, six as a starter. The midfielder is coach Cuca’s son-in-law.
