Manaus (AM) — The president of União Brasil in Amazonas and governor of the state, Wilson Lima, appointed, on Monday (11), 17 names to preside over the party’s provisional municipal committees in the interior municipalities. Wilson Lima had already named 32 names. In total, 49 people were chosen to provisionally command the acronym.

The chosen names will preside over the municipal directorates until elections are called, in which the definitive compositions will be elected.

The event, held at the party’s municipal headquarters, in the Adrianópolis neighborhood, Central-South Zone of Manaus, was led by Wilson Lima and was attended by several political leaders, mayors, councilors and deputies.

The acronym is preparing for this year’s municipal election, focusing on projects that bring quality of life and opportunities to the population in as many municipalities as possible.

Later this month, the party will hold important political events such as the election of the new president of União Brasil Manaus, in addition to other municipal conventions in the interior of the state.

The provisional committees have the following compositions: Benjamin Constant, José Amaury da Silva; Borba, Antônio Maia Cidade; Carauari, Francisco Costa dos Santos; Codajás, Antônio Ferreira dos Santos; Envira, Paulo Ruan Pontes; Fonte Boa, Belarmino Lins de Albuquerque; Guajará, Ordean Gonzaga da Silva; Ipixuna, Lia Farias de Oliveira; Itamarati, Antônio Maia da Silva; Itapiranga, Nadiel Serrão dos Nascimento; Jutaí, Jairiton Alves; Lábrea, Moacir Caniza; Manaus, Roberto Cidade; Maraã, Jadyr Costa; São Paulo de Olivença, Nara Souza de Souza; Silves, José Maria de Almeida; and Tonantins, Suelem Lofiego.
