UN Women and the Football Museum form a partnership to cover the World Cup – News of Brazil

UN Women, a United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality, and the Football Museum have entered into a partnership to promote and give visibility to the Women’s Football World Cup, which takes place from this Thursday (20) in Australia and in New Zealand.
Through the partnership, the contents that will be posted on the social networks of the two institutions will present curiosities, stories and information about the World Cup and the athletes. These updates can be checked through the profiles @museudofutebole and @onumulheresbr.
Currently, the Football Museum, which is located in the capital of São Paulo, presents an exhibition that recalls the history of the women’s cups and the struggle of women for space in the most popular sport on the planet. Called Queen of Hearts, the exhibition is on display until the 27th of August.
The Brazilian team, which seeks its first title, is in group F of the competition alongside France, Jamaica and Panama. Brazil’s first game will take place next Monday (24th), starting at 8 am, against Panama. The second match is against France on the 29th of July at 7 am. The third opponent is the selection of Jamaica, match scheduled for August 2, also at 7 am.
