TSE wants to train judges to face disinformation in elections – 04/07/2024 – Panel
[ad_1]
The Superior Electoral Court plans to carry out training for around 3,000 judges by July to address the resolution approved in February on artificial intelligence and help them become familiar with the policies of the main platforms through which disinformation circulates.
The idea is to call these companies to talk to the judges, so that they understand the integrity policies of each one. This would help them inform eventual decisions about content that disseminates fake news on social media.
The guidance would reduce the chance of judges issuing orders considered unenforceable by the platforms. A similar training was carried out with around 200 legal advisors in the first week of April.
