TRE-AP’s judicial secretary, Milene Lages, registered in the program ‘Meeting Point’ (Daily FM 90.9) this Thursday, the 7th, which kicked off the 2024 municipal elections on this date, with the opening of the Party Window, which runs until April 5th.
Milene explained that the Party Window is the first period of the TSE Electoral Calendar for the elections that will choose the next mayors, vice-mayors and councilors across Brazil.
The judicial secretary also explained that Janela allows politicians with proportional mandates – councilors, state deputies and federal deputies – to change parties without violating party loyalty.
Milene Lages made it clear, however, that in 2024 only councilors can change their acronym, with the possibility being prohibited for those who hold elected positions in legislative assemblies and the Federal Chamber.
