TJAP receives delegation from CNJ for routine inspections schedule – News of Brazil

This Monday (06) began the inspection schedule of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) at the TJAP.
For Minister Luis Felipe Salomão, the opening of the inspection works is an important moment to meet with the different actors of the Justice System and thus discuss improvements for the sector.
“It is a simple moment, but one of great symbolism, since we can make assessments together, exchange ideas, see where we can advance and share the good practices developed by the Courts”highlighted the minister during the opening ceremony of routine inspections by the National Council of Justice (CNJ) to the TJAP, this Monday afternoon (06).
The routine inspection that continues until Wednesday (08) takes place in administrative and judicial sectors of the first and second level of jurisdiction. The assignments do not interfere with the normal course of forensic activities or impact procedural deadlines, which normally follow.
“For us it is a great opportunity to receive the team from the National Council of Justice and show that the work that is developed in our Court can be a model for the judicial service throughout the country; and we still see where we can go forward”said the president of TJAP, judge Rommel Araújo.
After the opening ceremony at the Plenary of the TJAP, the Minister continued his agenda with meetings with the President of the Court of Justice of Amapá, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Public Defender’s Office, the Federal Court, the Labor Court and the Brazilian Bar Association. Then, audiences with the governor of the state, Clécio Luis, and with the president of the Legislative Assembly, deputy Alliny Serrão.
