Marcela dos Santos Bertazzo, 17 years old, Maria Vitória Tertuliano Rodrigues and Marco Antônio Soave Rodrigues, 18 years old, were in the same room and only found out that they were eliminated after Inep announced the results, this Tuesday (16). Students only found out about the disqualification in Enem this Tuesday (16) Personal archive Three students who took the National High School Exam (Enem) 2023, in the same room in Cuiabá, had a negative surprise when they opened the National Institute of Studies system and Educational Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) to check the score, released this Tuesday (16), and see that they were disqualified for allegedly refusing to hand over the answer card and essay sheet after the end of the test . A complaint was registered by the candidates through the Inep ombudsman. g1 contacted Inep, which did not respond until the last statement in this case. The person responsible for organizing Enem, in Mato Grosso, Maria Fernanda, said that the coordinator of the school where the candidates took the test informed that there was no elimination by the unit. Message that students received when accessing the Inep system to see their Enem score Reproduction To g1, Marcela dos Santos Bertazzo, aged 17, Maria Vitória Tertuliano Rodrigues and Marco Antônio Soave Rodrigues, aged 18, said they took the test at Leovegildo de Melo State School and were the last to leave the room. According to them, they only discovered that they were disqualified when they went to check their grades in the system. “We were the last to leave the room, so much so that we signed a document stating that the test was delivered on time. I was not informed that I had been disqualified, I only found out because I looked for my score. They claim that I didn’t deliver the card, but that didn’t happen. I wanted to study history and I’m very distressed, I just didn’t freak out because I take medication for anxiety and depression,” said Marcela. According to Marcela, it was necessary to publish a video on social media to understand whether the case had only happened to her, as the student left the room along with two other candidates and there were no complications. With the repercussions, the student received several reports saying that other candidates had also been disqualified from the exam for the same reason, in other states in the country. “I want an answer as to why this happened. I spent a lot of my life preparing for the Enem. It is my right to know what my grade is and why I was disqualified, since I did nothing wrong, she highlighted. Maria Vitória reported that her dream was to enter medicine and that she had been preparing since the 9th year of elementary school, when she was still 14 years old. With the disqualification, she stated that she doesn’t know what she’s going to do to get into college, since she can’t afford a private institution. “I am in shock and very sad about this whole situation. I had already seen that other people had been eliminated, but I never imagined that I would be one of them, as I finished the test on time and handed in my card and essay. I studied all year to get there and not make a mistake I didn’t make. I’ve cried a lot,” she said. Marco, unlike the other two candidates, only found out that he had been disqualified this Wednesday (17), when he saw Marcela’s video. “I submitted the test in the final 15 minutes. Inep is alleging that I refused to hand over the response card, but not even the room manager informed me that I was disqualified. I had been studying since the beginning of 2023 and intended to study medicine. I wasted an entire year of effort only to be unfairly eliminated in the end,” he pointed out.
