Regarding the candidate profile, 6,959 of those registered are men and 2,116 are women. The number of women registered increased by 2.1% compared to last year’s entrance exam, when 2,072 candidates took the entrance exam. The number of quota candidates, who declare themselves black or mixed race when registering, fell this year. There were 1,209 registrants, compared to 1,419 last year. ITA offers six engineering specialties: Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Civil-Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical-Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. The test will take place in several cities across the country, including São Paulo (SP), Fortaleza (CE), Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and São José dos Campos (SP), where the ITA headquarters are located.
