Even with the score of three votes to one, former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) said this Thursday (29) that he expects a turnaround in his judgment at the Superior Electoral Court (TSE). The Electoral Court will decide on the possible ineligibility of the former representative. The session will resume this Friday (30), at noon.

The TSE is formed by seven ministers, that is, one vote is missing for the Court to reach a majority in the case of Bolsonaro. “I saw the summary of some votes. One said that I interfered in the outcome of the elections. If I interfered, I should have won. What interference did I have in the meeting with ambassadors? For God’s sake. Meeting to talk about the electoral system is a capital crime for someone’s politics?”, asked the former president, reported the newspaper O Globo.

Bolsonaro stressed that “so far” he feels “completely wronged”. This afternoon, he went to Belo Horizonte (MG), where he will attend the wake of former Minister of Agriculture Alysson Paolinelli. The former president should return to Brasília this Friday to follow the trial at the TSE.
