Famiglia Facin emerged in 2014, the result of the dream of a young couple who grew up with Italian customs and good family cuisine. In a short time, it became a reference in Porto Alegre, winning the Revista Sabores do Sul Award for Best Italian in the city five times in a row, and expanding to a second unit at Cais Embarcadero in 2021.

The restaurant is participating in the Bom Gourmet Festival and believes it is a way to promote Italian cuisine. “We are looking forward to welcoming the public to the festival, it is an initiative that values ​​quality gastronomy and diversity of flavors. We want to show the people of Porto Alegre the beauty and flavor of Italian cuisine, which is one of the most admired in the world”, says Felipe Facin, owner of the Famiglia Facin restaurant.

In December 2022, the first unit, which was located in the Floresta neighborhood, moved to Rua Passo da Pátria, in Bela Vista, next to the Sommelier Vinhos store. For this new space, the inspiration came from a trip to Italy, and the city honored is Florence. Hence the name Famiglia Facin Casa Florença.

With a typically Italian menu, with family recipes, risottos, pastas and meats, the restaurant offers the possibility of harmonizing the menu with the Sommelier Store’s wine list, which has more than 1,200 labels at shelf prices. O Bom Gourmet Festival it’s in 2nd edition of the year in Porto Alegre and takes place until the day December 3guaranteeing unique experiences in 15 restaurants of the city. O biggest gastronomic event in the south of the country has exclusive and complete menus – with starter, main course and dessert – fixed prices in R$89.90, R$109.90 and R$129.90.

In Paraná, the Bom Gourmet Festival It has been held for eight years, with two editions per year in the capital of Paraná. The event has also arrived in Santa Catarina, with two editions in Balneário Camboriú and one in Florianópolis. It is a project that is popular with the public and sales, with around 100 thousand menus served annually, carried out by Pininnovation arm of People’s Gazette.
