Supermarkets on the coast of SP ask for a supplier discount – 02/26/2023 – Panel SA

After reports of abusive increases in the price of products in the trade of São Sebastião (SP), Apas (state supermarket association) says it has asked the entity’s associated establishments to open dialogue with suppliers in search of discounts.
Apas claims that the problem was not registered in establishments linked to the association, but that, even so, “it advises that any new price lists be negotiated with suppliers, so that there is no transfer to consumers due to the state of public calamity” .
The entity also says that it has been monitoring stocks and supplies in the region since last Sunday (19).
