Students selected in the first call of the 2024 selection process of Sisu (Unified Selection System) have until this Wednesday (7) to enroll in the higher education institution to which they were admitted.
Candidates approved in the regular call must submit the necessary documentation for enrollment at the educational institution, whether virtually or in person, as determined by the institution.
According to Inep (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira), Sisu 2024 offered 264,181 places in 6,827 undergraduate courses at 127 public higher education institutions across the country.
This Wednesday is also the last day for candidates not selected in the regular call to express interest in participating in the waiting list. They can register for the first or second course option chosen in their Sisu application.
To do this, they must access the system on the Sisu portal and, in their bulletin, click on the button that corresponds to confirming their interest in participating in the waiting list. The system will issue a message confirming the registration.
According to Inep, the call for candidates on the waiting list for enrollment is up to the educational institutions themselves. Therefore, candidates need to follow the calls directly at the institution in which they have expressed interest.
“The waiting list can be used throughout 2024 by participating public higher education institutions to fill vacancies that may not be occupied in the regular call”, informs the MEC (Ministry of Education and Culture).
Candidates on the waiting list will be called on February 16th.
