Silvio Almeida’s first daughter is born – 07/17/2023 – Mônica Bergamo

Fashion designer Ednéia Carvalho, wife of the Minister of Human Rights, Silvio Almeida, gave birth to the couple’s first daughter, Anesu, on Sunday (16). The delivery took place at Hospital São Luiz, in São Paulo.

The newborn came into the world healthy and weighing over three kilos.

His name, Anesu, originates from Zimbabwe and means “God is among us”.

“How wonderful it has been to share dreams with you! And our biggest dream, our much-desired princess, is on the way”, wrote Ednéia on social networks, at the time of her pregnancy announcement.

Minister of the third government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), Silvio Almeida holds a master’s degree in political and economic law from the Mackenzie Faculty of Law and a bachelor’s degree in law from the same university. He holds a degree in philosophy from USP (University of São Paulo), as well as a doctorate from the Faculty of Law of Largo São Francisco, at the same university.

Lecturer and writer, he is also the author of the books “Structural Racism”, “Marxism and the Racial Question: Left Bank Dossier” and “Sartre: Law and Politics”, among others.
