Manaus (AM) – This Sunday (2), on World Autism Awareness Day, the first sessions of the day in all rooms of the Cinepólis network at Millenium Shopping will be inclusive, adapted for people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The film to be shown will be Shazam! Gods Fury.

During adapted sessions, due to the hypersensitivity of the person with ASD, the lights will be dimly lit and the volume will be reduced. In addition, the doors will remain open during the screening of the film, for free circulation; the lights will be dimly lit and the volume will be reduced. There will also be no trailers or advertising shown. The entrance to the rooms will be identified with the worldwide symbol of the Autistic Spectrum.

Millenium’s Marketing coordinator, Elizandra Xavier, said that the mall supports initiatives that promote the inclusion of the public that frequents that space. “Promoting an inclusive cinema session on World Autism Awareness Day is also a way to help more people know and inform themselves about what Autism is”, she emphasized.
