This Sunday (21) Trem suffered another defeat in the Brazilian Series D Championship. Playing away from home for the third round, Locomotiva lost 3×0 to São Raimundo (RR), at the Flamarion Vasconcelos Stadium, in Boa Vista.
With this result, São Raimundo takes the lead in Group A, with six points. Train is in the lantern, with three. This is the second defeat in a row for the team from Amapá in the competition.
Making use of the field control and having the support of the crowd, Mundão took the opportunity to create moves until at 10 minutes of the first half, in a free kick by Luã, the defender Guigui opens the scoring. Trem was gaining game rhythm, but could not draw.
In the second half, Locomotiva was surprised, in the first few seconds of the game, with Carlinhos Souza’s goal, expanding the scoreboard. Trem was unable to put the opponent’s goal in danger and São Raimundo took the opportunity, with a free kick, in the 25th minute, to score the third, with Allan.
In search of getting back on its feet in the competition, Locomotiva will face Nacional (AM) on Saturday (27), at 4 pm, at Estádio Zerão, but before that it will play against Santos, on Wednesday (24), at 8 pm, for the third round from Amapázon. São Raimundo takes the field against Princesa de Solimões (AM) on Sunday (28), at 5 pm, in Manaus.
