Semsa will offer a health cart during UBS renovation, after Sassá’s request

The itinerant unit must remain in the vicinity of UBS Balbina Mestrinho until February 24

Manaus (AM) – Councilman Sassá from Civil Construction (PT) met, this Tuesday (31), with the holder of the Municipal Health Secretariat (Semsa), Shádia Fraxe, to discuss the reform of UBS Balbina Mestrinho, in the Cidade Nova neighborhood 3, North Zone of Manaus.

The unit began to be restructured this Monday (01/30) and the services were reallocated to other units.

“We brought to the secretary the idea of ​​taking an Itinerant Health truck to the community, for a period, even to guide those who are not yet aware of the reform on where to seek medical assistance during this period”, informed the councilor.

Secretary Shádia Fraxe responded to the request made by the parliamentarian and from the next February 6th, she will provide an itinerant health unit for the place. The service must remain in the vicinity of UBS Balbina Mestrinho until February 24th.

According to the secretary, the idea is not to leave anyone unattended during this period. “UBS Balbina Mestrinho needs to go through this reform. We are responding to the request of the population. The work should last six months and during this period we transfer the services to nearby units. During the month of February, we will also provide a mobile health unit to serve the community, as suggested by councilor Sassá”.

To insert procedures in the Regulation System (Sisreg), users should look for units of the Family Health Strategy (ESF) N-09, ESF N-14, ESF N-50 and ESF N-51, located nearby.

Medical, nursing and routine vaccination services can be accessed at USF Áugias Gadelha, USF Fátima Andrade and USF Arthur Virgílio Filho.

Human rabies prophylaxis and consultations with a pediatrician will be directed to the USF Arthur Virgílio, and with a nutritionist, to the USF Sálvio Belota. The electrocardiogram will be available at USF Áugias Gadelha, and the ultrasound exam will be available at the Carlson Gracie family clinic.
