In the current season, the rider was in seventh place after three completed Moto1000GP races and was looking for his first victory of the year. Érico was married and had a five-year-old son. In addition to his career in motorcycle racing, Érico Rocha was an entrepreneur in the motorcycle business.

André Veríssimo Cardoso died at the age of 42. Born in the city of São Paulo, the rider competed in motorcycle racing since 2011. Before reaching Moto1000GP, André was champion of other categories, such as 600cc Pro and 1000cc Evo of SuperBike Brasil. On social media, André showed his passion for motorcycles and the Moto10000GP pilot routine to his more than 40,000 followers.

As he started his professional career later than usual, André Cardoso worked professionally as a publicist for a few years before switching to sport. He became a little known, especially on social media, in 2020 when he lost a stage for celebrating victory before crossing the finish line. The pilot was overtaken by a rival moments before the end. André was single and had no children.
