This Saturday (13), the municipality of Santana will host one of the events that is gaining the most fans in the state, which is the Guerreiro Fight Championship (GFC). In its second edition, the GFC will take place at Ginásio de Santana and will feature 14 fights, 8 MMA, 1 Muay Thay and 5 Jiu-Jitsu.
“This is what’s new in this edition, the issue of MMA, Muay Thay and Jiu-Jitsu fights. In addition, we will have the participation of children from social projects, as martial arts have grown in the state and the event came to give these kids the opportunity to show their talents”he said Felipe Guerreiro, one of the event organizers.
In total, 18 fighters from the municipalities of Macapá, Santana, Mazagão and Oiapoque will be participating in the competition, divided into the main (04 fights) and preliminary (04 fights) cards. The official weigh-in takes place on the 12th, Friday, at 10am, at the Sorriso Fitness gym, in Santana. The weigh-in show with the official faces will take place at 7pm on the same day, at Praça de Santana.
Tickets to watch the matches are now on sale and can be purchased in advance by calling (96) 99933-3410 or at points of sale, at the Ginásio de Santana or Faculdade Madre Tereza in that city. Spectators, in addition to paying for tickets, will have to bring 1kg of non-perishable food, which will be donated to social sports projects.
