The report also contacted Kleiton Lima himself. The coach said he received the news strangely and denied the accusations.

“First of all, I did not resign, I made the position available to the club’s board after becoming aware of complaints from part of the squad regarding my work. Santos decided to disconnect the entire women’s football coaching staff. I also became aware of alleged harassment complaints, which caused me surprise and anger. An accusation like this is very serious and I will take legal action, whoever complains has to prove it”, he declared.

“I have a professional career of almost 30 years in an unblemished and successful way, I have never had any complaints in this regard throughout my career. I do not accept that they use this artifice to remove me from office and try to tarnish my history and that of the club”, he added.
