This Wednesday (06), at Estadio Zerão, Santana won its first victory in the Amapaense Football Championship, after four rounds. Canário beat Macapá 2-1 and can once again dream of qualifying for Amapazão.
Canário do Porto’s goals were scored by Heuler (2), and the defender Felipe Gabriel scored the only goal for Leão da Fab. With this result, Macapá remains at the bottom of the table, without scoring a point, and at risk of not qualifying. Canário left the red zone and occupies 5th place, with 4 points, and now has a chance of advancing to the next phase of the competition.
The game
The teams went to the field eager to win in order to advance in the competition, but the first half was marked by two expulsions, one from each team, as well as many fouls and wasted scoring chances.
In the second half, the teams wanted to come from scratch, and started to build plays to score the net, and it worked. In the 12th minute, Heuler opened the scoring for Santana, after a beautiful cross from Luis Fernando.
After the goal, Macapá tried to recover from the loss and managed to tie the game, in the 42nd minute, Dayverson takes a corner kick and Felipe Gabriel leaves everything the same. But, heading towards the final minutes, Heuler scored the second, sealing Canário’s victory.
