Santana City Hall celebrates the start of works on the Waterway Port with amendment by Randolfe – News of Brazil

On the morning of this Monday, the 24th, the ceremony for the start of works on the Waterway Terminal, which will also be called Santana Passenger Port, took place. The work has an amendment of R$ 12 million from Senator Randolfe Rodrigues.
The ceremony was attended by Mayor Bala Rocha; governor Clécio Luís, senator Randolfe Rodrigues; the director of waterway infrastructure at Dnit, Érick Moura de Medeiros and the president of the Legislative Assembly of Amapá, state deputy Alinny Serrão, representing Senator Davi Alcolumbre.
Officially called Small Public Port (IP4), the Santana Waterway Terminal has a forecast total investment of BRL 23,370,919.21 million, with Senator Randolfe Rodrigues guaranteeing BRL 12 million in amendments for the works to be carried out by Dnit.
The project has local infrastructure, as well as the urbanization of the surroundings and more urban mobility for those entering and leaving the port, which will have an area of almost four thousand square meters with a ticket office, restrooms, administrative area, snack bars, shops and parking. The work also includes the manufacture and installation of a 52m long floating dock.
