In the list of 91 courses offered are themes of demands presented during the Citizen Chamber
Manaus (AM) – Registration for 91 distance learning courses at the Léa Alencar Antony Legislative School, from the Manaus City Council (CMM), will continue until next Monday (31). The list offered to the public will include courses with themes suggested by the Legislative House. Classes start on the 1st of August through the platform, free of charge.
For the month of August, 12 courses with themes brought by the CMM will be offered to the population: LGPD: Introduction and application of the General Data Law; Understanding the Manaus Free Trade Zone; professional trustee; Basic Operational Training; Basic Notions of Chaplaincy; Hospitality Assistant; People management; Basic Computing; Social Media Marketing; Advanced Computing; Strategies and Practices for Children with ASD; Labor Market, Legislation and Rights for PCDs.
The director of the CMM School of the Legislative, Maurício Brilhante, highlighted that the last two courses – Strategies and Practices for Children with ASD and the Labor Market, Legislation and Rights for PCDs – were created based on themes presented by the Citizen Chamber project, carried out in the south zone of Manaus. According to him, it is the role of the School of the Legislative and of parliament to monitor changes in society.
“The City Council, as a public authority, is focusing on meeting these types of demands. These are changes that happen in society and the orientation of the president of the House, councilor Caio André, is that we follow up, both the civil servants and the people who are not civil servants, so that they qualify. I believe this is the great advantage of distance learning courses. Our structure is small, a lean structure. We wouldn’t be able to have 800 students in a course here, but we can have 800 students in a distance learning course”,
said the director.
Registrations
Both registrations and courses are available through the link www.cmm.am.gov.br/escola. Those interested will have until July 31 to enroll and each person will be able to register for up to three courses. Classes are taught in video format and can be completed by August 31, with the right to a certificate from the School of the Legislative.
In all, 30 thousand places will be granted for 91 distance learning courses, which are divided into 6, 12, 20, 30, 40, 60 and 80 hours by the platform.
