Manaus (AM) — The president of the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas (Aleam), state deputy Roberto Cidade, takes office this Saturday (16), as president of União Brasil-Manaus (UB). The inauguration event will be held, starting at 9am, at the Mocidade Independente de Aparecida samba school, Aparecida neighborhood, South Zone of the capital.
“It will be a moment of celebration, a great celebration of democracy. In addition to me, other municipal presidents will also take office and, from then on, we will work even harder to strengthen União Brasil in Amazonas. We are in a year of municipal elections and the objective is to build strong, competitive candidacies and make available names that will build a better Manaus for all of us”,
he stated.
Before presiding over the União Brasil-Manaus, Cidade presided over the state and municipal directories of the Green Party (PV).
