Registration is limited and will be available until March 12th

Macapá City Hall will hold the ‘Games of Silence’ project on March 14th (Thursday). It will be a futsal tournament with male and female teams from the Amapaense Association of the Deaf and the Deaf Service Center.

Executed by the Municipal Department of Sports and Leisure (Semel), the event aims at the inclusive and sporting participation of deaf people aged 16 and over (male and feminine).

The matches will take place at the Glicério Marques Sports Complex Gymnasium, from 6pm to 9pm. The competitor must bring an official document with photo and report of deafness or hearing impairment to the tournament. Medals will be awarded to the winners of the competition.

Registration is limited and will be available until March 12th. The game will follow the rules of the Brazilian Confederation of Deaf Sports (CBDS), where the judges will not just use whistles, but flags to signal the moves, trying to face the players, unlike conventional games, which would be watched from the sidelines.
