Registration for Encceja (National Exam for Certification of Youth and Adult Skills) 2023 is open from this Monday (22) and will continue until June 2.

Entries can be made on the Inep website (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira).

To enroll for Encceja 2023, you must have a CPF (Individual Taxpayer Registration) issued by the Federal Revenue Service.

The Encceja, carried out by Inep, is used to assess skills, abilities and knowledge of young people and adults who did not finish Elementary or High School at the appropriate age.

The exam is applied by Inep, but issuing the certificate and declaration of proficiency is the responsibility of the State Departments of Education and Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology, which sign the Term of Adhesion to Encceja.

To take the exam, you must be at least 15 years old on the date of the test, for those seeking certification in Elementary Education; or be at least 18 years old, for those who want to get a high school certification.

The Exam, according to Inep, consists of four objective tests, each with 30 multiple-choice questions, and a writing proposal.

Elementary School tests evaluate: Natural Sciences; Mathematics; Portuguese Language, Modern Foreign Language, Arts, Physical Education and Writing; History and geography.

The high school tests evaluate: Natural Sciences and its Technologies (Chemistry, Physics and Biology); Mathematics and its Technologies; Languages ​​and Codes and their Technologies and Writing (Portuguese Language, Modern Foreign Language, Arts and Physical Education); Human Sciences and their Technologies (History, Geography, Philosophy and Sociology).

The Exam has four applications, with different announcements and schedules: Encceja Nacional for residents in Brazil, Encceja Nacional PPL, for residents in Brazil who are deprived of liberty or who are serving socio-educational measures, Encceja Exterior, for Brazilians residing abroad, and Encceja Exterior PPL, for residents abroad who are deprived of their liberty or who are undergoing socio-educational measures. Applications outside Brazil are carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The application of the test is scheduled for the 27th of August. The disclosure of the results should happen on December 22nd.
