Real Madrid wants to sign full-back Yan Couto, ex-Coritiba, says newspaper

The right-back Yan Couto21 years old, became the target of Real Madridaccording to the Spanish newspaper Brand. The newspaper states that the club is interested in taking the player trained by Coritiba of Gironawith whom the Whites compete for the leadership of the Spanish Championship.
Currently, according to the website Transfermarkt, Couto has a market value of around 12 million euros – approximately R$65 million. He is in his second consecutive season at Girona, on loan from Manchester Citya team that is part of the same economic group.
Last year, the full-back was called up to the Brazilian national team for the first time. He played against Venezuela and Uruguay, in the World Cup qualifiers, still under the command of Fernando Diniz.
How much could Coritiba earn from the deal?
For Coritiba, however, a sale now would only yield percentage of training club, as the management at the time chose not to keep part of the athlete’s economic rights for a future sale. The solidarity mechanism is 5% of the value of the deal, proportional to the period in which the athlete was at the club (between 12 and 23 years).
However, if he met goals for City (a certain number of matches as a starter in the English Championship and Champions League), Coxa could double the 6 million euros received by Yan Couto with these bonuses.
So far, however, the English team has not officially used the player. To accelerate his adaptation to European football, he only loaned him to, in addition to Girona, the Portuguese Braga, in the 2021/2022 season.
