Randolfe announces R$1.2 million for Santana carnival – News of Brazil

This Thursday, the 18th, senator Randolfe Rodrigues announced a parliamentary amendment worth R$1.2 million for the Santana 2024 carnival. The funds will be allocated to the blocks, the Musa e Rei do Carnaval competition and the Samba School Império do Povo .

At the shed, Randolfe praised the work done by Império do Povo, through the ‘Fabricando Carnaval’ project, which gives the community the opportunity to work and get involved with carnival.

“It is work carried out throughout the year 2023, which involved those passionate about culture, art and Império do Povo. We know that the investment generates even more fruits for Santana, boosting the local economy and strengthening Carnival”, he stated.

Mayor Bala Rocha thanked the senator for the resource, which will also contribute to the Santana blocks and the Musa and King of Carnival competition.

“It is a time to be grateful. The contest is only happening because of this amendment by Randolfe. We are creating carnival together and revealing talents!” said the mayor.
