PSOL announces this Thursday (23) the candidacy of state deputy Carlos Giannazi for the presidency of Alesp (Legislative Assembly of São Paulo). The election takes place on March 15.
The parliamentarian goes to confront André Prado (PL), former president Jair Bolsonaro’s coreligionist who managed to add an alliance ranging from PT to PSDB and is the favorite in the dispute. He is the candidate of Governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans).
Giannazi is in his fifth term and has been in opposition since the toucan governments.
On its platform is the revocation of projects approved in previous administrations, such as the reform of the State Pension, the administrative reform and the privatization of parks, forests, caves and Ibirapuera.
Another promise that will appear on its platform will be to open the Alesp parking lot on weekends and holidays for Ibirapuera Park visitors and the end of the Blue Zone in the region, to facilitate the population’s presence in audiences and polls.
