The Socialism and Freedom Party (Psol), through the Municipal Directory of Macapá, the municipal elections for next year in the capital have already been defined: there is the current state secretary of administration, Paulo Lemos, as a pre-candidate for mayor.
In an interview on the program ‘Togas and Becas’ (Diário FM 90.9) this Saturday, 9th, Paulo Lemos confirmed the Municipal Directory’s decision regarding his name and anticipated that now the step is to dialogue with Rede Sustentabilidade, an association that forms a federation with Psol, to consolidate the pre-candidacy.

The pre-candidate, in the interview, said he was prepared to run again for mayor, embracing the purpose of Psol which, according to him, is “improving the lives of those who need it most”. He pointed out that he is open to dialogue, including with the senator Randolfe Rodrigues who, despite having left the Sustainability Network, works in politics along a progressive line.
Paulo Lemos He also said he was willing to look for the governor himself Clécio Luís, and the Workers’ Party (PT), which forms a federation with the PCdoB and PV, and which has already signaled support for a progressive candidacy in the state capital, as long as the candidate is himself or Camilo Capiberibefrom PSB.
