Aleam’s MIT Legislativo + Citizen provides free public citizenship services to the population of the state of Amazonas, through the Legislative, Executive and Judiciary branches.

Manaus (AM) – The Mobilization, Inclusion and Transformation (MIT) Legislative + Citizen project of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Amazonas (Aleam), designed by the Commission for International Relations, Promotion of Sports and Defense of the Rights of Children and Adolescents of the Legislative Branch, chaired by the state deputy João Luiz (Republicans) is one of the finalists for the 4th Citizen Assembly Award, in the Citizen Service Category, promoted by the National Union of Legislators and State Legislatures (Unale).

“We presented this project to compete for the 2023 Unale Citizen Assembly award. Amazonas is in the running to elevate the work that exists in the Legislative Assembly of our state and show Brazil work that has worked for the population of Amazonas”,

said deputy João Luiz.

Aleam’s MIT Legislativo + Cidadão provides free public citizenship services to the population of the state of Amazonas, through the Legislative, Executive and Judiciary branches.

“As part of our project we also have the campaign ‘Ei, Te Orienta! Enticing, Molesting and Violating Children is not Culture, it is Crime!, MIT + Citizenship and Proaj (Prepare, Relocate, Guide, Adolescents and Young People), which aims to bring dignity and services to the people”, stated the parliamentarian.

Numbers

Throughout 2023, the project designed by deputy João Luiz has already served more than 21 thousand people in the capital and interior of Amazonas.

Educating through Amazonas

The Educando pelo Amazonas program, carried out by the Escola do Legislativo Senador José Lindoso since 2022, is also competing for the 4th Citizen Assembly Award in the Special Projects category.

Unale Conference 2023

The Citizen Assembly Award is part of the 26th Unale National Conference, which takes place this year, in Fortaleza (CE). The event starts on Wednesday (8) and runs until Friday (10), where speakers from all over the world will debate the central theme: “The Prerogatives of the State Parliament”, which deals with the main issues of the current legislative scenario.
