Shared Passwords In April 2022, Netflix reported a loss of 200,000 subscribers between January and March of that year. According to Bloomberg, in quarterly balance sheets, it was the first time that the streaming giant recorded a negative result in this regard since 2011. At the time, Netflix highlighted the increase in competition in the segment and pointed out that it has been missing opportunities to increase the number of payers per account shared passwords. The company estimates that 100 million users enjoy shared passwords around the world.
