Procon-AM promotes action to settle energy and water debts this Monday (11)

Manaus (AM) – In reference to Consumer Week, the Amazonas Consumer Protection Institute (Procon-AM) will hold, starting this Monday (11), the 3rd edition of Feirão Limpa Nome, with the aim of resolving demands related to accounts of electricity and water. The action takes place from 8am to 2pm, at the Procon headquarters, on Avenida André Araújo, 1,500, Aleixo, central-south area of Manaus, and continues until March 15th.
The CEO of Procon-AM, Jalil Fraxe, explained that Feirão has a partnership with the concessionaires Amazonas Energia and Águas de Manaus, in order to provide citizens with a chance to clear their financial history and regain control of their finances.
To participate, interested parties must appear at Procon-AM headquarters with personal documents (RG and CPF) and an energy or water bill. Each day, 500 service passwords will be made available.
“The third Feirão Limpa Nome is an initiative by the Government of Amazonas to serve the population of Amazonas with regard to energy and water bills, which are the main demands in Procon Amazonas. So, this week is being aimed at serving these consumers and helping them resolve these debts”, says Jalil Fraxe.
Exclusive discounts
During Feirão Limpa Nome, exclusive advantages will be offered to consumers such as installment payments with no down payment for low-income customers; installments with a minimum down payment of 10% for other customers; discounts of up to 90% on consumption recovery invoices; discounts of up to 70% on consumption invoices, considering the debit time; credit card installments in up to 18 installments, with interest from the machine; among others.
The conditions are valid exclusively for customers in the residential or rural individual class. Furthermore, the discount is subject to regular payment of installments by the due date of each installment.
“We are committed to ensuring that consumers have access to fair and affordable conditions to settle their debts. Feirão Limpa Nome is a significant step towards achieving this objective”, emphasizes the CEO of Procon-AM.
