President of PSOL says he will closely follow investigations into murders – 10/05/2023 – Panel

Elected last Sunday (1st), the new president of PSOL, Paula Coradi, states that the party will closely monitor the investigations into the murder of the three doctors in Barra da Tijuca, including Diego Ralf de Souza Bomfim, 35, brother of deputy Sâmia Bomfim (PSOL-SP).
“We already have the support of the PF [Polícia Federal] and we will demand that investigations be swift and that everyone involved be held accountable in accordance with the law”, he states.
She said that the party offered solidarity to the families of the murdered doctors and also to Sâmia, her partner, also deputy Glauber Braga (PSOL-RJ), as well as family and friends.
One of the lines of investigation by the Civil Police is that one of the orthopedists, Perseu Ribeiro Almeida, 33, was confused with Taillon de Alcantara Pereira Barbosa, 26, accused by the state Public Ministry of being part of the Rio das Pedras militia.
In addition to Sâmia and Perseu’s brother, orthopedist Marcos de Andrade Corsato, 62, was also murdered. Daniel Sonnewend Proença is hospitalized at Lourenço Jorge Municipal Hospital, where he was taken after being shot.
