For the president of Alap, deputy Alliny Serrão, The Legislative Branch has managed to integrate itself into the development and current political process of Amapá, due to its administration’s brand of dialogue and the good internal relationship that exists between parliamentarians, regardless of parties and ideological factors.

First woman to hold the presidency of Alap, and now re-elected to the Legislature starting on February 1, 2025, Alliny Serrão spoke this Tuesday morning, the 27th, on the program ‘LuizMeloEntrevista’ (Rádio Diário FM 90.9).

The deputy highlighted the good relationship that the Legislative Assembly has with the state government, the Amapá federal bench in Brasília and with the municipal chambers. Only in 2023 did the president receive, in groups, councilors from seven municipalities in the state.

Alap, in 2023, also held traveling sessions in seven municipalities in Amapá, with a notable public hearing being held in Oiapoque, where for the first time the issue of oil prospecting on the state’s coast was widely discussed. There was an event on the same subject at the Legislative headquarters, in the capital, with the presence of national authorities.

“Our objective is to create a stronger Legislature, with responsibility and competence. With our brand of conciliation, we are doing our best for the development of the state, integrated with other powers and society as a whole”, Alliny Serrão pointed out.

The president spoke about the digital office that is being implemented at the House of Laws, seeking greater speed in services and better monitoring of plenary production and special commissions, as well as other sectors.

Alliny took the opportunity to talk about her political stronghold, Laranjal do Jari, administered by her husband, mayor Márcio Serrão, in the second consecutive term and who is working, for the municipal succession, under the name of the current health secretary, Ted Marcel.

In Laranjal do Jari, the president of Alap announced, the First Women’s Run and Walk will be held in March, but the day has yet to be scheduled. She tries to fit visits to the city every 15 days into her schedule, but so far she hasn’t been able to, due to her tasks at Alap.

Regarding the social projects embraced by the Legislative Assembly, Alliny recalled the “strong work”, in 2023, with the signing of development terms, in order to strengthen the responsible entities that provide these services to society.

The president cited the Casa da Hospitalidade and the center run by the Capuchin priests, as well as care for children, the elderly and women who suffer violence and have difficulty receiving support.

“Through our management we were able to increase the resources of these partnerships. We know it is important, there are many entities, and we select them seriously, so that this can happen in the best way possible. We invite the Public Ministry to be part of the signing events so that we can have transparent work”declared Alliny Serrão.
