Police officer has gun stolen during robbery at grocery store

One criminal police officer had his firearm stolen during a robbery in a market in the city of Santa Inês, in Maranhão. The crime was recorded by a security camera, which caught the moment the suspect entered the scene and announced the action, subtracting items from the merchant and the agent.

According to the images, around 8 am this Thursday (1), the suspect enters the grocery store alone, goes to the end of the corridor and returns outside, with a pink helmet. Soon after, he enters the establishment again, this time announcing the robbery, carrying a firearm.

Still according to the security camera, the suspect, who has not yet been identified, steals the merchant’s utensils, while customers walk into the hallway. At that moment, a Criminal Police Officer from Maranhão enters the establishment, catches the robbery, shows no reaction and tries to leave.

Faced with the reaction, the bandit brings the agent back into the grocery store and takes the policeman’s gun. After the crime, the suspect fled the scene in an unknown destination. So far, the criminal has not yet been identified. The police will investigate the case.
