Manaus (AM) – Fulfilling one of her campaign promises, congresswoman Débora Menezes (PL) presented PL nº 72/2023, which makes it mandatory to define civic hours in public and private educational institutions, with the execution of the Brazilian National Anthem and the Amazonas Anthem, once a week. The agenda was on the agenda for voting this Wednesday (8), during the Ordinary Session of the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas (Aleam).
According to the congresswoman, the civic moment helps children and adolescents to form an awareness of belonging and love for the homeland, in addition to a sense of collectivity and responsibility towards the country.
“The civic schedule is important for the student to learn the meaning of civility, patriotism, demonstrating, through singing, reverence for the national and state flags. I am happy to present this project, because it was something I learned in childhood from my father, something I spoke a lot to my constituents during the campaign period and committed myself to defend, so nothing fairer than doing this on the first day. I hope that the agenda will be approved by my colleagues”,
he said.
