Manaus (AM) – The Manaus Olympic Village Kartódromo has been the base for training drivers for high-speed competitions. Carrying out all his preparation in the sports space managed by the Secretary of State for Sports and Leisure (Sedel), the member of the Just Motors Racing team, Walter Netto, embarks for the Mil Milhas GP, which started this Thursday (25) and will until January 28, at the Interlagos racetrack, in São Paulo.

“We are happy to know that this structure has been fundamental for the preparation of these drivers on national circuits. Just like Walter, other athletes who also started karting are conquering the world”,

At 45 years old, Walter Netto, who started karting at the age of 17, has accumulated several titles, such as Amazonian and Roraima kart champion, between 1999 and 2001, and Brazilian vice-champion in Formula Ford in 2001.

“The structure of the Vila Olímpica track is ideal for training, with more than 30 layouts, we work on speed and technical skills. In addition to being a space that has revealed new talents”,

said Walter Netto.

The other members of Just Motors Racing, Paulo De Carli, Paulo de Carli Filho, Márcio Pavanelly and Guilherme Campos also train karts, and maintain the habit of always being present at the kart track, in state competitions that take place throughout the year.

The competition

Mil Milhas is a long-term automobile race, with the aim of demonstrating the quality of automotive products manufactured in the country, serving as a field for testing through the holding of a sports competition of speed and endurance for automobiles.
