The Federal Police must listen to Senator Marcos do Val (Podemos-ES) in the investigation that investigates the acts of vandalism that occurred after the second round of elections. The parliamentarian should be called to give testimony as a witness, reported Folha de S. Paulo. The senator stated that he was pressured by former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) to participate in an alleged plan to carry out a coup d’état.

This morning, Marcos do Val announced that he will ask for removal from the Senate. In addition to Bolsonaro, the senator reported that former federal deputy Daniel Silveira (PTB-RJ) would also be involved in organizing the plan. The idea would be to record without authorization a conversation that could compromise the President of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), Minister Alexandre de Moraes, and that would serve as an argument to arrest him and invalidate the election result.
