The Federal Police arrested this Thursday (9) a man who had been caught in videos of the January 8 attacks sitting in the chair of one of the ministers of the STF (Supreme Federal Court).
João Cláudio Tozzi, 59, was identified through the collection of fingerprints on the windows of the Supreme Court after the attacks carried out on the headquarters of the three Powers by supporters of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
The preventive arrest and a search and seizure warrant were served in Engenheiro Beltrão (PR). The action was another development of Operation Lesa Pátria.
The report seeks contact with Tozzi’s defense.
The facts under investigation constitute, in theory, the crimes of violent abolition of the democratic rule of law, coup d’état, qualified damage, criminal association, incitement to crime, destruction and deterioration or destruction of specially protected property.
