Santos fired coach Paulo Turra this Sunday (6). He was warned that he would not continue in office after the 1-1 draw with Athletico this Saturday (5), in Vila Belmiro.
This is the eighth change of command in the administration of President Andres Rueda, which began in 2021.
Indicated by Luiz Felipe Scolari, Turra was hired to replace Odair Hellmann, but was ahead of the team for just seven games. There were three defeats, three draws and one victory. This was obtained against Goiás by 4 to 3, in Vila, with a penalty in the added time much contested by the visitors.
