The election was officially announced on Real Valladolid’s social networks this Tuesday (12). “Following meetings held with the club’s various interest groups, including the Supporters’ Consultative Committee, and extensive conversations with the Federation of Real Valladolid Supporters’ Clubs, this final formula was agreed upon for holding the event: consultation for the shield”, announced Valladolid.

“The club agreed to the requests of the Federation of Supporters’ Clubs with the aim of achieving a framework for meeting and dialogue. All parties stipulated that a simple majority will be required to return to the emblem immediately preceding the current one, with the only requirement that there be a minimum participation of 50% of the census of subscribers registered on the Blanquivioleta Portal.”

There are 21,956 members with voting rights registered on the Blanquivioleta Portal. For the election to be valid, at least half plus one must go to the polls to vote. And the majority will decide whether the logo will be the traditional one or whether it will change from July 1, 2024.

“This is an important decision that requires significant representation of the entire white-violet social mass. Voting will be held electronically from Saturday, December 16th at 10am until Monday, December 18th at 2pm, and to vote It will be necessary to be registered on the Blanquivioleta Portal on the club’s official website”, explained Valladolid.

A face-to-face office will be set up at the Valladolid stadium to help people who really need it and who cannot vote electronically on their own. The question agreed with the Federation of Real Valladolid Supporters’ Clubs, like the other points of the popular consultation, will be: “Do you want to return to the previous shield?” You can only answer “YES” or “NO”.

Ronaldo decided to change the Real Valladolid shield in April 2022, which occurred two months later, on the club’s 94th birthday. But many found it disrespectful and since then have been demanding that the emblem used since 1998 be the official one.
