[ad_1]
Next Thursday (14), the Parliamentary Entrepreneurship Front will present a request for information so that the Federal Revenue Service can forward copies of complaints made by Brazilian companies about alleged cases of tax evasion carried out by retailers Shein and Shopee.
The document will be presented at a public hearing with the participation of Brazilian companies in the Special Subcommittee on Preventing and Combating Customs Evasion, chaired by deputy Júlio Lopes (PP-RJ).
Frontline members want to know which inspection mechanisms are being put into practice and whether customs control is being efficient. They also talk about checking whether public bodies are failing to identify the entry of undertaxed products into the country.
According to members of the front, the subcommittee may have access to confidential data from the federal government and make recommendations to the TCU (Federal Audit Court) after presenting a report.
