Parintins makes Azul put more flights in the North – 03/20/2024 – Panel SA

The Parintins Festival grew so much that Azul, the official sponsor, had to double the number of seats this year, going from 9 thousand to 18 thousand.

The airline informs that there will be more than 150 extra company flights to Parintins (AM). The forecast is that, during the days of the festival, the destination will be busier than the Rio-São Paulo air bridge — the main one in the country.

Between June 28th and July 1st there will be 14 daily takeoffs for the “ox route”. During this period, the Santos Dumont-Congonhas section will receive 13 flights per day.

The party is a kind of carnival, contested by two teams — Boi Garantido and Boi Caprichoso.

The festival gained even more visibility with the participation of Isabelle Nogueira at BBB 24.

Even indirectly, the “cunhã-poranga” [musa, na linguagem do Boi Garantido] became the main promoter of the Amazonas tradition. There are rumors that Globo would be negotiating the broadcast of the party throughout Brazil.

In addition to flights leaving Manaus, Azul will operate direct routes from Tefé (AM), Tabatinga (AM), Belém and Santarém (PA).

The airline will also increase the number of extra flights to Manaus leaving from Macapá (AP), Belém, Tabatinga and Belo Horizonte (MG).
