Nunes’ ally Tucano rebuts PSDB leader and calls him ‘Zé Aníbal Rousseff’ – 03/21/2024 – Panel

Executive secretary of Ricardo Nunes’ (MDB) office, Fábio Lepique responds to the president of the PSDB in the capital, José Aníbal, who ruled out support for the mayor’s re-election.
“Zé Aníbal Rousseff really wants to hand São Paulo over to PSOL,” he says. The pun on former president Dilma Rousseff’s surname is in response to the fact that Aníbal called the mayor “Ricardo Nunes Bolsonaro”, in a conversation with the Panel.
Aníbal defends the party’s support for Tabata Amaral’s (PSB) candidacy, which is criticized by Lepique. “Tabata supported Boulos in the election of Bruno Covas [em 2020]”, he says. He also remembers that the toucan was Dilma’s friend in his youth.
The PSDB is experiencing a split in the city of São Paulo between supporters of Nunes and Tabata, in addition to a group that is considering launching its own candidate.
