Neymar re-introduced himself to Al-Hilal this Wednesday (14) to continue his recovery from the serious injury he suffered to his left knee in October last year.
Images released by the Saudi Arabian club show the Brazilian doing strengthening work in the team’s gym. He arrived in the Middle Eastern country last Monday (12) after spending four months in Brazil.
Before landing in Riyadh, Neymar also spent a day in Barcelona, Spain, from where he left for the Saudi capital.
The player has not played since October 17th of the year, when he suffered the injury during the Brazilian team’s 2-0 defeat to Uruguay in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
At the time, he ruptured his left anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus. The problem should leave him out of action for up to 12 months. Therefore, he should not play for Brazil in this year’s Copa América, in the United States.
The surgery to correct the problem was carried out in Brazil, in Belo Horizonte, by the team’s doctor, Rodrigo Lasmar, supervised by representatives from Al-Hilal.

While in Brazil, Neymar spent much of the last few months at his home, in Mangaratiba, Rio de Janeiro. But he also enjoyed a cruise organized by himself, in addition to being present at other events, such as a game between Santos in the Campeonato Paulista against Corinthians, on the 6th.
Even without the player, Al-Hilal is the current leader of the Saudi Championship, with 53 points, followed by Al-Nassr.
