MST invades farm used for sexual exploitation in Goiás – 07/24/2023 – Panel
[ad_1]
More than 600 families from the MST (Movement of Landless Rural Workers) occupied this Monday (24th), for the second time, a farm in Hidrolândia (GO) that, in the past, was used for sexual exploitation and international human trafficking, according to the Federal Police.
They ask that the property be used for the creation of a new settlement. The site, which has been part of the Union’s heritage since 2016, was already invaded in March of this year and the activists were evicted by the Military Police.
PF investigations indicate that the area belonged to a criminal group made up of 18 people who were convicted in 2009 of sexual exploitation and international human trafficking.
