MP-AP and NGO Carlos Daniel form a partnership for the 6th Race Against Cancer – News of Brazil

On the morning of this Wednesday (9), the Attorney General of the Public Ministry of Amapá, Paulo Celso Ramos, received the president of the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Carlos Daniel, Agenilson Silva, to celebrate another year of partnership and co-realization of the 6th Race Against Cancer, scheduled for November.
The race is a social, sporting event accessible to all, with the aim of promoting life, health and alerting society about the importance of early diagnosis for cancer prevention.
The launch will be on the 23rd of September; among the rules already defined, is the exemption from the registration fee for people with visual impairments, wheelchair users and aged 60 and over. The route will be 5 kilometers.
The NGO Carlos Daniel helps children and teenagers in the fight against cancer in Macapá and other states. It aims to encourage solidarity actions to build a better, less unequal and fairer society. One of the institution’s initiatives is the Race Against Cancer, in which the MP-AP, for the third consecutive year, participates as a co-organizer.
