The Brasil Popular and Povo Sem Medo fronts, which promoted demonstrations for democracy during the government of Jair Bolsonaro (PL), will hold an event in front of Masp, on Avenida Paulista, on January 8th. The objective is to mark the first anniversary of the coup acts in Praça dos Três Poderes, in Brasília.
The demonstration of social movements, scheduled for 5pm, has the theme of January 8th: Brazil unites in defense of democracy.
On the same day, in Brasília, there will be a ceremony bringing together President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), governors and heads of the Legislative and Judiciary Powers, among other authorities.
