Senator Sergio Moro (União Brasil-PR) followed, this Monday (1st), the beginning of the trial by the TRE (Regional Electoral Court) of Paraná that could remove him from office in Brasília. The electoral action analyzes alleged abuse of economic power when running in the 2022 election.
In the early evening, Moro left the Senate office, was approached by journalists, but continued without commenting. He was also accompanied by three security guards.
Headed by Jair Bolsonaro’s PL and Lula’s PT federation (also containing the PC do B and the PV), the representations argue that he had made excessive expenditures during the pre-election campaign linked to the last election, which the defense of the senator denies it.
