Moraes testifies to the PF about hostility at Rome airport

Brasilia DF) – Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the STF (Supreme Federal Court), testified to the Federal Police this Monday afternoon (24) in the investigation into the conduct of Brazilians who harassed him at Rome’s international airport, on the last day 14.

In addition to the minister, his wife and three children also deposed to the PF. They were heard at the headquarters of the Federal Police Superintendence in São Paulo.

Moraes called the PF after the hostility against him and his family in Rome. The body launched an inquiry to determine the circumstances of the approach and also of a possible aggression against the minister’s son.

Those responsible addressed the member of the Supreme Court and president of the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) expressions such as “bandit”, “communist” and “bought”, according to information gathered by the investigators.

The defenses of those involved in the episode have said that the hostility against the minister did not come from them. The statements must be compared with the images from the security cameras, which were requested by the PF.
